Family Transitions| Children & Schools
Family change like separation, divorce, bereavement and illness affect so many children.
Our programme offers nervous-system-informed learning and practical body-based tools for children navigating family change, supported by school staff training and resources.
Children can practise skills without sharing their family story.
CPD-Certified for schools
Family Transitions: Supporting Children Through Change is CPD certified (CPD Provider No. 22284), covering twenty evidence-informed practices — including grounding, breathwork and body-based regulation through The S.H.I.F.T Method — alongside seven creative activities for processing big feelings. In our early pilot, 75% of children were calmer or happier after the sessions — the first sign this approach works, and part of why we've since built it into a fully certified training programme for schools.
What children learn:
Breathing & movement techniques for emotional regulation.
How to understand what their body is telling them.
Creative ways to process big feelings.
That they're not alone in what they're going through.
Delivered via a train-the-school model. We work with your school staff to deliver the programme in small groups, building capacity and expertise within your team. This ensures sustainable, trauma-informed wellbeing support tailored to your school community.
