SHIFT supports women navigating separation, divorce, domestic abuse and the family courts. We meet women with acute or historical situations, often looking for ways to understand what has happened and how to move forward. They face challenges navigating practical systems whilst feeling burnt out and disconnected from themselves and those around them. We offer simple tools and practices to reconnect, ground the body and mind, self-regulate and make space for empowered choice.
Our in-school programme FAMILY TRANSITIONS works with children aged 7 to 11 whose families are navigating separation, divorce and major family transitions. The programme equips children with emotional regulation and relationship skills - helping them at home and in school.
CONNECT WITH RESPECT is designed to give girls aged 11-18 the tools, self-awareness and confidence to make safe choices and build healthy, respectful relationships. We are piloting this programme with schools to meet new statutory guidance for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE).
Our work with children and teenage girls bridges gaps in statutory RSHE and offers early intervention to break cycles of trauma and unhealthy relationships. By supporting women and children together, we strengthen families, improve wellbeing and build healthier communities.
