A community wellbeing project
in Thanet for girls aged 7-13

An ongoing project funded for two years by the National Lottery Community Fund, Connect With Respect is designed to offer a safe space for connection, expression and respect.

Through movement, mindfulness, breath and creative expression, girls can explore their emotions and learn practical tools such as boundary setting, emotional naming and positive self-regulation techniques.

Connect With Respect aims to strengthen wellbeing, nurture kindness and empower girls to trust their bodies, voices and choices.

There was no pressure to participate in anything so if you have a shy child, this is perfect. We will definitely be back because all the activities on offer were interesting and a great bridge for girls to get to know each other."
